UGC NET Result 2024: NTA NET December results soon for 6.49 lakh candidates

The National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to declare the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) result 2024 soon for the December session exams. Candidates will be able to check UGC NET 2024 result on the official website, ugcnet.nta.ac.in.

Aspirants will need their application number and date of birth or password to download the UGC NET December 2024 scorecard which would mention the subject-wise marks and total marks.
UGC NET Dec 2024 results will be prepared and declared on the basis of the final answer key. The subject experts will release the UGC NET December 2024 final answer key after reviewing the challenges submitted by the candidates.
As per UGC NET passing marks, candidates belonging to the general category will need 40% marks while OBC-NCL, PwD, SC, ST, transgender will have to score at least 35% marks.
6.49 lakh candidates appeared for the UGC NET December 2024 session administered by NTA at 558 exam centres. The exam was held between January 3 and 27. Those who qualify the exam will be eligible for the award of Junior Research Fellowship (JRF), appointment as assistant professor, and admission to PhD programmes.
