Download EBookXavier School of Management (XLRI) Jamshedpur will conduct the Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT 2026) exam today from 2 pm to 5 pm. Candidates appearing for the XAT 2026 MBA entrance exam have to carry their hall tickets along with a government-issued ID to the exam centre for verification purposes.
Candidates should reach the XAT 2026 exam centres at least one hour before to avoid any last-minute hassle. No candidates will be allowed to enter the exam hall if they do not carry their XAT admit card 2026 .
XAT 2026 will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode; candidates are not required to carry anything. A rough sheet will be provided along with a pen if required.
XAT question paper will comprise 5 sections, including Verbal Ability and Logical Reasoning (VA & LR), Decision-making (DM), Quantitative Aptitude and Data Interpretation (QA & DI) and General Knowledge (GK).
The marking scheme for the XAT entrance exam 2026 is as follows.
- One mark will be awarded for each right answer
- - 0.25 marks will be deducted for each wrong answer
- - 0.10 marks will be deducted for more than eight unanswered questions
- There will be no negative marking in XAT in the General Knowledge (GK) section

XAT Exam Instructions 2026
A few other important exam instructions for candidates useful for attempting the XAT 2026 exam are as follows.
- Candidates will have five options per question to answer, and one question at a time will be available on the screen.
- Candidates will be able to switch between questions using the next and previous question tabs.
- On the top-right corner of the screen, a timer will be visible.
- XAT question paper will disappear once the timer gets to zero.
- Candidates are unsatisfied with marked answers, can choose to unmark the same by clicking the 'Erase' button given at the bottom.
- There is no sectional timing; hence, questions can be answered in any time frame.
- Candidates will also have an option to bookmark a question, in case the candidate wishes to review it. This can be done by clicking on the 'Tag' button.
