Quantitative Ability and Data Interpretation
In XAT 2025, the quantitative ability and DI section was more difficult compared to XAT 2024.
- Arithmetic questions were fewer than in 2024; algebra was dominated by probability topics.
- Notable questions included:
- Scatter plot with male and female data (easier level).
- Geometry-based questions (higher count).
- A question on irrational roots in DI.
- Problems requiring multiple concepts, such as probability and quadratic equations.
- Unique DI questions on shortest path in a triangle and optimization-based averages.
- A frustum-related question involving volume calculation and gold cost estimation.
- A puzzle required determining the maximum number of turns in a match.

Verbal and Logical Ability
- The Verbal and Logical Ability section focused heavily on Reading Comprehension (RC), including:
- One difficult RC passage and a challenging poem about a ceiling fan.
- Complex and bit lengthy parajumbles.
- A comic-based question involving dialogues.
Decision-Making
- The Decision-Making (DM) section was easy but lengthy, with an information-heavy format compared to XAT 2024.
- The questions were doable but required careful reading due to their length and detail.
General Knowledge
- The General Knowledge (GK) section was straightforward and easiest among all sections.
- Topics included awards, honors, and notable personalities who passed away in 2024.
