Download EBookNEW DELHI: XAT 2022 exam has been successfully conducted today by Xavier School of Management today. XAT was conducted in computer based mode for a duration of 190 minutes. XAT exam timings were 09:30 AM to 12:40 PM . XAT 2022 had two parts. The first part of XAT 2022 had questions from Verbal Ability & Logical Reasoning (26 questions) Decision Making (21 questions) and Quantitative Aptitude & Data Interpretation (28 questions). The second part consisted of General Knowledge (25 questions) and Essay (1 question).
XAT 2022 difficulty level was easy to moderate. In comparison to XAT 2021, the paper was easy to moderate. Various MBA coaching institutes are releasing the XAT 2022 overall analysis and XAT 2022 sectional analysis.
XAT Exam Analysis 2022: Key Features and Marking Scheme
- XAT 2022 overall difficulty level was easy to moderate.
- The Essay Writing section has been introduced this year itself in XAT.
- +1 mark for a correct answer.
- - 0.25 marks for incorrect answer.
- - 0.10 marks for more than 8 unattempted questions.
- No negative marking in the GK section.
- According to students, Quantitative Aptitude was the easiest section.

XAT 2022 Student Analysis
According to Mohit, one of the students who appeared for XAT 2022, the difficulty level of the XAT exam paper was easy. According to him, the XAT question paper was comparatively easier as compared to the previous year. The Quantitative Aptitude section was the easiest among all sections. The Decision Making section was tougher.
Ruchi, one of the XAT candidates at the XAT test centre said, “ I was really nervous for XAT even though I had prepared well. This is the first time I’m giving XAT. I found the paper easy. Data Interpretation was quite straightforward. I had solved the 2021 question paper and this year's XAT question paper was similar as compared to last year.”
At the XAT examination centres, all COVID-19 precautions were followed. Students and staff strictly followed social distancing, sanitization and temperature checks. All necessary precautions were taken.
