The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) has opened the WBJEE 2026 application today, March 10. Candidates who meet the eligibility criteria can complete the WBJEE application form on the official website, wbjeeb.nic.in.
New: WBJEE Sample Papers
As per the schedule released by the board, the registration window will remain open until April 4. The application correction facility will be available from April 7 to April 9, allowing applicants to make necessary changes to their submitted forms.
The board will issue the WBJEE 2026 admit card on May 15. The exam is scheduled to be held on May 24 in two shifts—paper 1 (mathematics) from 11 am to 1 pm and paper 2 (physics and chemistry) from 2 pm to 4 pm.
To complete the WBJEE 2026 registration, general category male candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 500. General category female candidates and reserved category male candidates are required to pay Rs 400, while reserved category female candidates will have to pay Rs 300. Third gender candidates will have to pay Rs 200.
WBJEE Registration 2026: Eligibility, pattern
Candidates who have passed or are appearing in the 10+2 or an equivalent examination with physics and mathematics as compulsory subjects, along with any one of chemistry, biotechnology, biology, computer science, or a technical vocational subject, are eligible to apply for the WBJEE exam 2926.
Candidates must also have at least 30% marks in English and pass in all three compulsory subjects separately. For WBJEE 2026, candidates must be at least 17 years old as of December 31, 2026. There is no upper age limit, except for Marine Engineering, where the maximum age limit is 25 years.
The WBJEE 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode using a pen-and-paper format. The total duration of the exam will be 4 hours. It will have two papers, each lasting 2 hours. The exam will be conducted in English and Bengali and will include 155 multiple-choice questions in total.
WBJEE 2026 Registration: Documents required
Candidates applying for WBJEE 2026 must keep the below documents and details ready before starting the online registration process to ensure smooth submission of the application form;

Valid mobile number and email ID: Required for registration, OTP verification, and receiving updates from the WBJEE board.

Scanned photograph and signature: Candidates must upload a clear passport-size photo and their signature in the specified format during the application process.

Class 10 and Class 12 academic documents: Applicants need to enter information such as board name, year of passing or appearing, and subjects studied. Candidates need to upload the class 10 and 12 mark sheet and certificate as well.

Reservation or eligibility certificates: Documents like category certificate, domicile certificate, PwD certificate, or income certificate are needed if applicable.

Online payment method: Candidates must have access to debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI to pay the WBJEE 2026 application fee.
