Vice president of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar will be addressing the valedictory session of UIA hackathon as the chief guest at GBU, Uttar Pradesh 11 AM tomorrow.
NEW DELHI: The vice president of India, Jagdeep Dhankhar will be addressing the valedictory session of UNESCO India-Africa (UIA) hackathon as the chief guest at Gautam Buddha University (GBU), Uttar Pradesh 11 AM tomorrow, November 25, 2022.
Union education and skill development minister Dharmendra Pradhan along with Uttar Pradesh, Governor, Anandiben Patel; Uttar Pradesh, chief minister, Yogi Adityanath; UNESCO (PAX), assistant director general, Firmin Edouard Matoko and ministers of the 13 African countries will attend the event.

The UIA hackathon was inaugurated at GBU on November 22, 2022. The hackathon is an annual 36-hour event that brings together students, educators, teachers, and the research community of India and its African partners to tackle the common challenges faced by their countries and serves as a facilitator for cultural union.
The event provides a platform for young innovators to find solutions for environmental, technical and social problems face by the participating nations together. It serves as the foundation in creating start-ups and allows students to explore new technologies to solve real-world problems under the mentorship of experts and therefore, spearheading business innovation.
