UPSSSC PET 2021: Exam to begin soon; CCTV cameras installed, electronic gadgets prohibited

UPSSSC is going to conduct the UPSSSC PET 2021 exam today and all the possible steps have been taken by the government to ensure that the exam is conducted in a fair and transparent manner.
NEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) is to conduct the UPSSSC PET 2021 exam today in offline mode. In order to ensure that the UPSSC PET 2021 examination is conducted in a transparent manner, approximately 70,000 CCTV cameras have been installed at more than two thousand exam centres. Earlier the UPSSSC PET exam date 2021 was August 20. The UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test 2021 will be conducted in two shifts - Shift 1 from 10 AM to 12 PM and Shift 2 from 3 PM to 5 PM.
Earlier, some changes in the UPSSSC PET exam centre list 2021 were made and then the hall ticket was issued on August 17. Applicants can download the PET admit card form the UPSSSC PET official website.
It is expected that approximately 20 lakh candidates will appear in the UPSSC 2021 entrance exam. Those who have been issued the UPSSSC PET 2021 admit card are only eligible to appear for the PET exam. Along with the PET admit card 2021, candidates must carry one original valid photo identity card to the examination centre. As the UPSSSC Preliminary Eligibility Test is going to commence soon, applicants must stay calm, hydrated and focused throughout the exam.

UPSSSC PET exam - Overview

The PET exam will have objective type questions

A total of 100 questions will be asked in the exam.

The exam duration will be 2 hours.

Incorrect answers carry a penalty of negative 1/4th mark.

The difficulty of questions for topics shall be as per NCERT books of Secondary/ Senior Secondary level.

UPSSSC PET 2021: Follow the COVID 19 protocol and check list of prohibited items
Candidates should read all the exam day guidelines, to avoid any last minute hiccups.

Aspirants must wear a face mask for the full duration of the exam.

The UPSSSC PET admit card 2021 along with an original photo ID card must be carried to the exam centre.

No electronic devices or gadgets are allowed inside the examination hall like mobile phones, smartwatches, etc.

All the COVID-19 protocols and social distancing guidelines must be adhered.

Candidates must bring their own stationary.

Applicants can carry drinking water and hand sanitizer in a transparent bottle to the examination.
