The second shift of the UPSC civil services examination 2021 has concluded and candidates found the CSAT paper as moderately difficult. Most of the candidates were of the view that in the past two years the overall difficulty level of the UPSC paper 2 has increased. Though as per the UPSC prelims 2021 analysis, CSAT is merely of qualifying nature. However, questions asked from various topics were moderately difficult.

Majority of the candidates found the CSAT paper of UPSC as time consuming. Overall, as per the UPSC exam analysis, the paper was lengthy and five to ten questions were tricky.

There were a total of eighty questions that were asked in the UPSC prelims paper 2. Though the UPSC CSAT paper is merely qualifying in nature, candidates had to answer a minimum 27 questions correctly.

Now that the UPSC prelims 2021 exam has concluded, most of the coaching institutes will soon provide the UPSC answer key so that candidates can know what is the correct answer to the questions that have been asked in UPSC CSAT paper. The UPSC prelims 2021 result will be declared within a month’s time and all those candidates who clear the prelims they will be eligible to appear in the mains exam.
