UP TET 2026 registration from March 27; exam dates for classes 1 to 8 teaching posts announced
The UP TET 2026 exam will be conducted on July 2, 3, and 4 to recruit qualified and trained teachers.
The Uttar Pradesh Education Service Selection Commission (UPESSC) will open the UP Teacher Eligibility Test (UP TET 2026) registration process on March 27. Eligible candidates will be able to apply for the teacher eligibility test UP TET 2026 through the official website at upessc.up.gov.in.
The commission will host the UP TET 2026 registration facility until April 26 for recruitment to teaching positions for classes 1 to 8 in primary and upper primary schools in Uttar Pradesh.
“Candidates will be given the opportunity to amend their application forms and resolve fee-related issues until May 1, 2026,” according to an official notification.

UP TET 2026 OTR process; exam dates
The UP TET 2026 exam will be conducted on July 2, 3, and 4 to recruit qualified and trained teachers. The competitive exam will be held to boost the state’s basic education system, the commission said.
Prashant Kumar, chairman, UPESSC, said that the UP government has implemented a One-Time Registration (OTR) system to make the recruitment process more transparent, streamlined, and candidate-friendly.
Candidates will have to complete the OTR process before applying for UP TET-2026. This system will prevent fraud and expedite the recruitment process, the commission said.
UPESSC has also partnered with ICICI Bank to streamline the registration fee payment process for the UP TET 2026. The bank will provide advanced digital payment solutions by integrating “EasyPay Classic” gateway.
