UP Police Constable exam date for direct recruitment announced; exams on February 17, 18

UP Police Constable Direct Recruitment 2023: Admit cards will be issued soon at uppbpb.gov.in.
NEW DELHI : The Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board (UPPBPB) has announced the UP Police Constable exam date 2024. Accordingly, the exam for direct recruitment of police constables in state police will be conducted on February 17 and 18.
UP Police Constable direct recruitment 2023 notification was released in December last year. Eligible candidates were able to apply for the exam by January 16.
The recruitment board informed that the admit card for the written exam will be available soon for downloading on the official website, uppbpb.gov.in. The board asked candidates to ensure to download the admit card through the link provided on the website and be present at the exam centre at the given date and time while following the instructions.
UPPBPB will conduct a written exam which will contain 150 objective type questions carrying a total of 300 marks. The duration of the exam will be two hours. The question paper will comprise four sections — general knowledge; general Hindi; quantitative and mental ability; mental aptitude, intelligence quotient, and logical ability. As per the marking scheme, candidates will be awarded two marks for each correct answer.
The recruitment exam will be conducted to fill a total of 60, 244 vacancies across the categories. The category-wise vacancies are as follows:
