UP NEET PG 2025 Counselling: 6,416 shortlisted in state merit list; round 2 allotment on December 20

As many as 6,416 candidates have been shortlisted in the UP NEET PG state merit list for round 2 counselling. The Director General Medical Education and Training, Uttar Pradesh has announced that the UP NEET PG round 2 counselling will be strictly based on the state merit list. According to the merit list, the NEET PG marks of the selected candidates for round 2 counselling range between 665 to 235. All candidates who are listed in the state rank list are required to fill their choices before December 19. As per the revised UP NEET PG counselling schedule , the second round seat allotment results will be declared on December 20.

UP NEET PG seat matrix shows 2,125 MD, MS seats are available for the second round of counselling. The admission schedule has been revised multiple times to align with the MCC NEET PG counselling.

Candidates who were allotted seats in the first round and were either upgraded or admitted are required to re-register to participate in the second round.

Those who were allotted seats in the first round and did not take admission or submitted resignation letters will be covered under the free exit policy. Such candidates are not required to re-register.

While filling choices, seats will be shown as vacant, not reported, resigned, clear-cut vacancies, and seats against cancellation (SAC). Here SAC seats virtual vacancies, which means that they may be available provided the admitted candidate chooses to upgrade or exit.
