UP Board Exams 2023: 58.8 lakh students to appear in Class 10, 12 exams from tomorrow

Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) is all set to start the UP Board Class 10, 12 exams 2023 tomorrow, February 16. According to the official UPMSP notification, about 58.8 lakh students (58,85,745) are appearing for the UP board 10th, 12th exam 2023 , of which 32,46,780 are male candidates and 26,38,965 are female candidates. The examination will be held across 8,753 centres across 75 districts in the state.
UPMSP has stated in its notification that online monitoring of each examination center is being done from two control rooms set up in Lucknow. Apart from the state, a control room has also been set up in all 75 districts for monitoring. The UP board has installed 3 lakh CCTV cameras in 1.43 lakh examination halls to prevent cheating.
The UP board high school (Class 10) examinations will start from February 16 and will continue till March 3, for a total of 12 days. The UPMSP intermediate (Class 12) examinations will be organised from 16 February to 4 March, for 14 days.

UPMSP Board Exam 2023: Security arrangements
The UPMSP has taken the following steps for the smooth conduct of board examinations
- The number of examination centers has decreased by about 25 percent due to the creation of examination centers by software.
- The examinations will be conducted from February 16 to March 4 i.e. in a total of 14 working days.
- CCTV cameras with voice recorders, DVR router devices and high-speed internet connections have been provided in about 1.43 lakh examination rooms of all examination centers and about 3 lakh in the campus.
- The board has also deployed 1,390 sector magistrates, 455 zonal magistrates, 521 mobile teams for vigilance.
