Download EBookNEW DELHI: The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) will conduct a fresh exam for Class 12 English board exam 2022 tomorrow, April 13 in 24 districts where it was cancelled due to paper leak . The 24 districts where the UP 12th English exam was cancelled were Ballia, Etah, Baghpat, Badaun, Sitapur, Kanpur Dehat, Lalitpur, Chitrakoot, Pratapgarh, Gonda, Azamgarh, Agra, Varanasi, Mainpuri, Mathura, Aligarh, Ghaziabad, Shamli, Shahjahanpur, Unnao, Jalaun, Mahoba, Ambedkar Nagar, and Gorakhpur.

UP Police has claimed to have solved the Uttar Pradesh state board class 12 English paper leak case with the arrest of the alleged mastermind of the scam . Nirbhay Narayan Singh, the manager of a private Inter College, leaked the paper, Ballia Police said in a statement. "Nirbhay Narayan Singh, the manager of Maharaji Devi Smarak Inter College, along with one Rajeev Prajapati, leaked the question paper kept in the college," read the statement.
"The leaked question paper was sent to an English teacher by Prajapati. The English teacher solved the paper and handed it to Nirbhay Narayan Singh," it said. Singh sold the solved paper for Rs 25,000-30,000 each, police said. "Singh also shared the solved copy to other people using a popular messaging application for money.

So far 46 people have been arrested in connection with the case, including three journalists and the Ballia District Inspector of Schools.
The UP Board English exam was cancelled in 24 districts on March 30 after the paper was leaked, prompting state Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to order stringent action, including invoking the National Security Act, against the culprits. UPMSP cancelled UP Board Class 12 English exam 2022 in the second shift in all exam centers of 24 districts following paper leak. The exam was to be held from 2 pm on Wednesday.
The UP Board Class 10, 12 board exams 2022 began on March 24. Over 4 lakh students skipped the exam on the first day.
