Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan launches Skill India Digital Platform

The Union Minister stressed the on mantra 'Skill anywhere, Skill anytime, Skill for all' in his speech and said the country is leading the world in digital technology.
NEW DELHI: Union Minister of Education and Skill Development Dharmendra Pradhan has launched Skill India Digital, a state-of-the-art digital platform today, September 13. The platform aims to bring all skill development initiatives on one platform.
The Union Minister stressed the on mantra 'Skill anywhere, Skill anytime, Skill for all' in his speech and said that this programme will significantly improve the accessibility of skill development activities.

Speaking about India’s expertise in technology, Pradhan said that Bharat is leading the world in digital technologies.
Taking another leap towards creating digital public infrastructure, MSDE has created an open-source platform to address the skilling needs of India’s diverse demography. Skill India Digital is one more step towards harnessing our demographic dividend and establishing India as a global skills hub, he added.
Pradhan termed it as powerful schemes where the sole objective is to ensure skilling the youth with future ready skills. This will help in creating many opportunities. In this post covid world there is tremendous awareness about digital skills. Skill India Digital will enable Entrepreneurship and future-ready workforce, he added.

- Security Measures
- Interoperability
- WhatsApp Chatbot
- Ease of Doing Business
Several Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) were exchanged with top organisations during the event, including AICTE, CBSE, NIELIT, Infosys, Microsoft, AWS (Amazon), RedHat, Wadhwani Foundation, UNICEF, Future Skills Prime, SAP, and Tech Mahindra Foundation, to advance digital skilling, foster industry participation, and improve learner engagement.
Skill India Digital is a shining example of innovation and development in a number of areas, including personalised learning, secure authentication, business facilitation, and national convergence. Its journey has had a lasting influence on Indian education and skill development and continues to inspire and empower people.
