Download EBookTS Inter Exam 2026: The Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) concluded the Inter 2nd Year English Paper-II exam at 12 pm. The board has officially selected Set C for the IPE February/March 2026 exam. The Intermediate Public Examination (IPE) March 2026 theory exams are being conducted from February 25 to March 18 for nearly 10 lakh students.
Around 4,56,458 students registered for TS Inter 2nd year English Paper-II, out of which nearly 4,46,457 appeared for the examination and 10,001 students were absent. 2 malpractice cases were reported (one in Karimnagar and other Siddipet).
A total of 9,97,075 students are appearing for the Telangana board exams this year, of which 4,89,126 students will sit for the first year exam, and 4,53,932 students will appear for the second year exams. Additionally, 54,017 private students will take the second year exam.
The public exam is scheduled to be conducted at 1,495 exam centres across the state, including 404 government junior colleges, 221 government sector junior colleges, 863 private junior colleges, and seven schools.
TS Inter hall tickets 2026, exam day guidelines
Students will be allowed to enter the exam halls with a valid TS Inter hall ticket. No additional permission or principal’s signature is required to enter, the board clarified recently. For the first time, the TS Inter hall tickets have been issued with a QR code to help guide students to their exam centre.
Students have to report by 8 am, one hour before the exam begins. The board has installed CCTV cameras in all 1,495 centres, integrated into a Command Control Room with 31 screens and a video wall at the TGBIE headquarters. Around 7,500 cameras are being used for supervision.
Flying squads and district-level high-power committees led by Collectors and SPs have been constituted to prevent malpractice. Xerox centres near exam halls will remain closed during exam hours. The board has warned that criminal cases will be registered in cases of copying or impersonation.
