TNEA 2022 counselling postponed; to be held two days after NEET UG 2022 result

New TNEA 2022 Counselling schedule for engineering admission in Tamil Nadu colleges will be released soon on the official website, tneaonline.org.
NEW DELHI: Directorate of Technical Education (DoTE) has postponed the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions 2022 (TNEA 2022) counselling due to delay in National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG 2022) result declaration. TNEA 2022 Counselling for BE and BTech admission was scheduled to begin from August 25.
As per the latest notice, “BE/BTech counselling was scheduled to start from August 25, 2022 onwards. Due to the delay in the NEET result declaration, the state education minister has announced to hold (Tamil Nadu) BE/BTech counselling two days after the NEET result announcement.” TNEA 2022 revised counseling schedule will be released later on the official website, tneaonline.org.
Earlier, the DoTE announced the TNEA registration deadline as August 27, 2022. The release of tentative allotment was on August 28, 2022. However, the new schedule for engineering counselling for admission in Tamil Nadu colleges will be released soon on the official website.
The medical entrance exam, NEET 2022, was held on July 17 and the National Testing Agency (NTA) is expected to soon release the NEET answer key at neet.nta.nic.in. However, the official NEET 2022 answer key date and NEET result 2022 date has not been announced by the NTA.
