NEW DELHI: The Tamil Nadu Teachers Recruitment Board (TN TRB) has issued a notification for direct recruitment of Assistant professors today, March 14. Interested candidates can apply for the TN TRB assistant professor recruitment 2024 through the official website, trb.tn.gov.in from March 28.
As per the official notification, the TN TRB recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 4,000 assistant professor vacancies at government Arts, Science colleges. Candidates will be able to apply for TN TRB assistant professor vacancies till April 29, 2024.

TRB Assistant Professor Recruitment 2024: Vacancy details
Backlog Vacancies: 72 posts
Shortfall Vacancies: 4 posts
To teach Differently Abled Person: 3 posts
Current Vacancies: 3, 921 posts
Total: 4,000 vacancies
The TN TRB written examination will be held for 200 marks, and it has two papers. Paper 1 will be for 100 marks and will be divided into two sections. Section A carries 50 compulsory questions of one mark each, 25 of which are from Tamil Language and 25 are from General Knowledge, especially Current Affairs. Section A will be held for 1 hour while Section B will be for two hours, and has eight descriptive-type questions
TN TRB Paper 2 also has two sections – section A has 50 multiple-choice questions of 1 mark each and the duration of exam will be of one hour. Section B has eight long questions and candidates have to attempt any five.
