TN 10th Maths Exam 2026: The Class 10 maths paper concluded at 1:15 pm. Updates on timings, pattern, answer key, timetable, and analysis

The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) conducted the Tamil Nadu Class 10 (SSLC) Mathematics exam today, March 25, from 10:00 AM to 1:15 PM across the state. The question paper was based on the prescribed syllabus, covering key areas such as algebra, geometry, and arithmetic.
As per the student reactions, the paper was balanced and manageable overall. However, some students found a few 2-mark questions slightly tricky, while the 5-mark questions were relatively straightforward and scoring.
Students were required to carry their TN Class 10 hall ticket to the examination centre, as entry was not permitted without it. A 10-minute reading time was provided from 10:00 AM to 10:10 AM to go through the question paper, followed by a 5-minute window until 10:15 AM to verify personal details. Writing began at 10:15 AM.
Candidates were seated in their designated places and were required to strictly follow invigilators’ instructions. Carrying mobile phones, electronic devices, or any unauthorised materials into the examination hall was strictly prohibited.
Following the conclusion of the TN Class 10 Mathematics exam, paper analysis are being shared by coaching institutes and subject experts. The Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu does not release official answer keys for board exams.
Experts and educators have described the paper as balanced and student-friendly, noting that most questions were from the prescribed syllabus. While a few 2-mark questions were slightly tricky, the 5-mark questions were largely straightforward and scoring.
Unofficial answer keys released by subject experts are expected to help students review their responses and estimate their probable scores.
