Try NowThe Directorate of Medical Education and Research, Tamil Nadu has issued the provisional rank list for the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) 2025 counselling for admission to MBBS, BDS programmes. Candidates can check the Tamil Nadu NEET rank list 2025 on the official website, tnmedicalselection.net.

TN NEET UG counselling 2025 rank list has been published for government quota, management quota, and 7.5% quota for government school candidates in MBBS seats in Tamil Nadu medical colleges .
39,853 candidates have been selected for Tamil Nadu NEET UG counselling 2025 for the government quota, 28,279 under the management quota, and 4,062 for government school quota.
Earlier, TN medical selection committee cancelled the candidature of 20 candidates and banned their admissions for the next three academic years for submitting fake, forged documents. Four applicants submitted fake Non-Resident Indian (NRI) certificates, seven submitted fake nativity certificates, and nine uploaded false community and nativity documents. The selection committee found out about the fake documents during the scrutiny of the applications for TN MBBS admissions 2025.

Applicants were allowed to submit grievances against the list of non-eligible candidates by July 23, 2025. They were asked to submit the necessary supporting documents through login. The DMER provided an additional window for uploading of documents after receiving representation from aspirants.
TN NEET UG counselling 2025: MBBS, BDS seats
TN NEET UG 2025 counselling will be held for 85% state quota in more than 12,000 MBBS and 3,000 BDS seats in government and private medical and dental colleges across the state. In Government Erode Medical College and Hospital, Perundurai, Erode District, the government has sanctioned an annual intake of 100 students of which 30 seats are earmarked for the wards of employees of the State Transport Corporation and Institute of Road Transport Corporation members who are contributing to the Corpus Fund. 15% of total seats (15 seats) are surrendered to All India Quota (AIQ) and the remaining 55 seats are reserved for the state quota.
30% seats of Christian Medical College, Vellore will be filled under the state quota, 20% have been earmarked for candidates who are native of Tamil Nadu and belong to the Christian minority in accordance with the Christian Minority Merit List and candidates who are eligible to claim Christian seat. The remaining 50% seats will be filled under the CMC quota.
