Tamil Nadu Class 10 Paper 2026 March 16 LIVE: Get updates on TN board 10th English question paper analysis, answer key, students’ reactions, exam difficulty level.

The Directorate of General Education, Tamil Nadu (TNDGE) has conducted the Tamil Nadu Class 10 English exam 2026 today, March 16, from 10 am to 1.15 pm across the state. Students were not allowed to appear for the public examination without a TN 10th hall ticket.
Students are given 10 minutes to read the question paper from 10 am to 10:10 am, followed by a five-minute period from 10:10 am to 10:15 am to verify their details. The exam started at 10:15 am and ended at 1:15 pm.
Candidates must be seated in their allotted spots and follow the instructions of the invigilators during the examination. They are not allowed to carry mobile phones, electronic gadgets, or any unauthorised materials inside the examination hall.
The teachers and subject experts are expected to share a detailed analysis of the Tamil Nadu SSLC 2026 English question paper soon. The review will include the overall difficulty level of the exam, key questions asked, and trends observed across different sections.
To pass the TN SSLC board exams, students must score at least 35 marks out of 100 in each subject. In subjects with practical components, students must obtain a minimum of 20 marks out of 75 in theory and 15 out of 25 in practical or internal assessment to be considered as having passed in the subject.
