The TN 12th Public Examination 2026 will be held for a total duration of 3 hours and 15 minutes, including 15 minutes provided for reading the question paper.
Around 8,27,475 students will appear for the Tamil Nadu Class 12 (Higher Secondary) board examinations 2026 across the state. This total includes approximately 7,99,692 regular school candidates and 27,783 private candidates.
Tamil Nadu 12th Board Exams 2026: Question paper analysis and answer key
The board will conduct the TN +2 board exams 2026 from 10 am to 1 pm. After the exam, teachers and subject experts will share the Tamil Nadu 12th board exams 2026 question paper analysis.
The TN +2 English exam 2026 consists of a total of 100 marks. Part 1 includes 20 MCQs for 20 marks. Part 2 carries 14 marks through short-answer questions, while Part 3 accounts for 21 marks with 3-mark questions across three sections. Part 4 consists of seven 5-mark descriptive questions totalling 35 marks. An additional 10 marks are allotted for internal assessment.
