SSC announces JE, CHSL 2025 paper 2 dates; exam pattern

Download NowThe Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has announced the Junior Engineer (JE) and Combined Higher Secondary Level (CHSL) 2025 paper 2 exam dates. SSC will hold SSC JE 2025 paper 2 on April 7, and SSC CHSL 2025 tier 2 on April 10.
SSC CHSL 2025 tier 2 pattern includes an objective test in session 1 and a skill test or typing test in session 2. The JE 2025 paper 2 includes three parts, comprising 100 questions of 300 marks. JE paper 2 will include one mark for every incorrect answer.
Recently, the commission announced the SSC JE 2025 paper 1 results, and a total of 15,607 candidates were shortlisted for paper 2.
For the SSC JE paper 2 exam 2025, from the shortlisted applicants, 11,593 candidates have been selected to appear for the civil engineering exam, while 4,014 candidates will appear for the electrical and mechanical engineering exam.
The SSC JE 2025 exam was conducted in CBT mode across multiple shifts from December 3 to 6 and on December 13 at various centers across the country.
For SSC CHSL 2025, more than 39,000 candidates have been shortlisted for the tier 2 exam. More than 11 lakh candidates appeared for the SSC CHSL 2025 exam.
SSC conducts the CHSL recruitment exam for Class 12th pass candidates to secure Group C, non-gazetted government jobs, and the JE exam for Group ‘B’ non-gazetted posts in various Indian government ministries and departments.
