SSC Delhi Police Constable exam 2025 registration begins for 7,565 vacancies; apply by October 21

SSC Delhi Police Constable Recruitment 2025: Online form corrections are allowed from October 29 to 31, with exams expected in December or January. Male candidates require a valid driving license for LMV.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has commenced the registration process for the Delhi Police constable recruitment exam 2025. Eligible candidates can register for the SSC Delhi Police constable recruitment exam 2025 through the official website at ssc.gov.in.
The SSC recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 7,565 constable posts in the Delhi Police department. As per the official schedule, the last date to register for the recruitment exam is October 21.
To register for the exam, candidates will have to pay an application fee of Rs 100 by October 22. However, women candidates and those belonging to the Scheduled Castes (SC), the Scheduled Tribes (ST), and the Ex-servicemen (ESM) eligible for reservation are exempt from the fee.
The window for online application form correction and payment of correction charges will be open from October 29 to October 31, 2025. The SSC Delhi Police Constable computer-based exam is tentatively scheduled to be conducted in December 2025 or January 2026.
SSC Delhi Police Recruitment 2025: Eligibility criteria
The SSC Delhi Police Constable recruitment exam 2025 eligibility criteria is given below.
- Candidates' age should be between 18 years old and 25 years old years as of July 1, 2025. Only those born between July 2, 2000, and July 1, 2007, are eligible to apply.
- Candidates should have passed Class 12 from a recognised board. The commission states that the educational qualification can be relaxed to Class 11 pass for sons/daughters of serving, retired, or deceased Delhi Police personnel/Multi-Tasking Staff, and for bandsmen, buglers, mounted constables, drivers, dispatch riders, etc., of Delhi Police.
- Male candidates should hold a valid driving license for a light motor vehicle (motorcycle or car) on the date of the Physical Efficiency and Measurement Test (PE&MT). Learner licenses are not accepted.
