A total of 15130 vacancies are offered for the SSC CGL recruitment 2025. SSC will open the option-cum-preference window for various CGLE 2025 posts on March 9.
According to the official SSC notice, before the SSC CGL tier 2 results 2025 are announced, candidates will have to submit their preference for CGLE posts on the facility available on the official website, ssc.gov.in.
The SSC CGL 2025 option-cum-preference window will close on March 12 at 6 pm.
All candidates who appeared for tier 2 are advised to submit their option-cum-preference for posts through their respective ‘candidates login’ wherein the facility of submission will be available under the ‘My Application Tab.’
“All candidates are requested to ensure that they fulfil the requisite Physical and Medical standards for the post before submitting the preference form,” the official SSC notice reads.
SSC CGL 2025: Preference filling
Candidates must ensure that after filling in their preferences, they submit the form by clicking the “Submit” button. Candidates who fail to exercise their option within the stipulated period will not be given any further opportunity to submit their preferences and will not be considered for inclusion in the final merit list or final selection.
Therefore, candidates who have appeared in tier 2 are mandatorily required to exercise their Option-cum-Preference to have their candidature considered for the final merit list and final selection in CGLE 2025.
According to the official SSC notice, PwBD candidates must ensure that they select preferences only for posts that are identified as suitable for their specific disabilities. If a PwBD candidate is selected for a post that is not recognised as suitable for their disability, the concerned user department will cancel their candidature.
