SSC CGL tier 1 exam 2025 will be conducted till September 26. The commission has deployed digital monitoring at all exam centres. Evidence from attempted malpractices will be used to identify offenders.
The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has issued a detailed advisory cautioning candidates against malpractices during the ongoing Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination 2025. According to the advisory, various technological and digital security solutions have been deployed to monitor each candidate terminal in real time.
SSC states that its monitoring systems have detected attempts at remote takeover and system hacking on certain candidate nodes at some examination centres. The commission emphasised that these activities are under continuous observation.
The commission further states that after the SSC CGL 2025 exams conclude, evidence from the digital footprints will be used to identify offenders. Candidates involved in such malpractices are likely to face debarment, and criminal proceedings may also be initiated. Centres that facilitate or allow such activities may similarly face action under the law.
“Based on the evidences and digital footprints, candidates involved in such malpractices will be debarred and necessary criminal proceedings may also be initiated against all involved in the act, including the centres which facilitated such malpractices,” the commission said.
SSC CGL 2025 continue despite malpractice detection
The commission had earlier, in a notice, highlighted that in case of any detected malpractice, the exam would not be interrupted immediately to avoid disturbing other candidates. However, candidates found involved in such activities will have their scores withheld, and action will be taken to debar them following the established procedures.
The SSC has urged candidates to maintain integrity during the CGL 2025 exam, warning that attempts to compromise the system would attract stringent action.
Recently, the commission clarified that the ongoing SSC CGL 2025 is proceeding smoothly across the country, dismissing claims of widespread cancellations . Out of 2,435 planned shifts, only 25 were cancelled so far, affecting 7,705 candidates. The SSC CGL 2025 exam will be conducted till September 26 in multiple shifts at 227 centres.
