South Asian University defers SAU entrance test 2021; Application window re-opens

The application process has restarted in view of the postponement of the SAU entrance examination 2021.
NEW DELHI : South Asian University has postponed the SAU entrance test 2021 for admission to PG and PhD level programmes. The new dates for the South Asian University entrance test 2021 will be announced soon on the official website of SAU.
The SAU 2021 entrance exams were scheduled to be held on April 10 and April 11 at different exam centres across and outside the country. There are a total of 28 SAU exam centres within India and 14 in the other 7 SAARC countries.
Meanwhile, the university has re-opened the SAU 2021 application window and those candidates who couldn’t fill the SAU application form 2021 before March 30 can now fill their applications now.

Candidates who belong to Non-SAARC (South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation) countries are exempted from the SAU entrance test and will be offered a seat based on their academic background.
SAU entrance exam is generally held once a year for admission in postgraduation and doctoral level programmes to the students belonging to the SAARC member countries. These eight members are Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka.
