Seven IIMs offer 5-year Integrated programme in management with dual-degree and exit options: Govt
Four IIMs such as Bangalore, Kozhikode, Sambalpur and Sirmaur have started their undergraduate programmes.
Seven Indian Institute of Management (IIMs) offers a five-year dual-degree Integrated Programme in Management (IPM), the ministry of education informed the Rajya Sabha today. The IPM programme is being offered by IIM Indore, Ranchi, Amritsar, Bodh Gaya, Jammu, Rohtak, and Shillong.
As per the IIM admission policy, students who will be enrolled in the IPM course will have an option to exit the programme after three years. Those candidates will be awarded an undergraduate degree.
“Number of seats in IPM varies from 60 to 180 across these seven IIMs,” as per the official statement.

On the other hand, four IIMs such as Bangalore, Kozhikode, Sambalpur and Sirmaur have already started their undergraduate programmes.
“The IIM Act, 2017, inter alia, empowers each IIM to specify and conduct courses of study, training and research in management and allied subjects. It further empowers the Board of Governors of each IIM to establish departments, faculties or schools of studies and initiate programmes or courses of study at the institute,” the statement said.
IIM Raipur has launched a 12-month executive development programme in general management in collaboration with TimesPro.
The programme is designed for working professionals, looking to enhance their career growth by building a strong foundation in business strategy, cross-functional leadership and analytical deicision-making.
