RRB JE 2025 registration deadline extended to December 10; vacancies increased to 2,588

Subscribe NowThe Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has extended the registration deadline for the junior engineer (JE) 2025 recruitment exam. Eligible candidates can now register for the RRB JE 2025 till December 10 through the official websites of the respective regions' RRBs.
Earlier, the RRB JR form submission deadline was November 30. The last date for application fee payment is December 12, 2025. Candidates who have already applied can change their choice of RRB, post preference, and Zonal Railway(s)/Production Unit within the opted RRB without any modification fee.
The RRB JE modification window will be active from November 25, 2025, till the closing date of application submission. “Candidates who have already applied are advised to modify their option of chosen RRB and preference of Zonal Railway(s)/Production Unit within opted RRB, if required using their login credential. The same will be activated from 25.11.2025 till the closing date of submission of online application,” the official notice said.
RRB JE Registration 2025: Vacancies revised to 2,588
The board has also increased vacancies at Rail Coach Factory (RCF), Kapurthala, under RRB Jammu–Srinagar, and at Integral Coach Factory (ICF), Chennai, under RRB Chennai. RRB Jammu–Srinagar now has a total of 95 vacancies, while RRB Chennai has 169 vacancies. With these revisions, the total number of vacancies for the recruitment drive has risen from 2,569 to 2,588.
Candidates can make corrections in the application form, with payment of the modification fee, between December 13 and 22, 2025. Eligible scribe candidates should submit their scribe details on the portal from December 23 to 27, 2025.
The RRB has also warned candidates to be cautious of touts who may provide false promises of securing jobs through illegal means. The recruitment process for RRB exams is fully computerised, and selection is strictly based on merit.
