Reserved category candidates rejected in DU CSAS round-1 to be considered for open seats in round-2

Reserved category candidates who did not submit their category certificates in the prescribed format will be considered for open category in round-2.

Download NowNEW DELHI: University of Delhi (DU) issued a notice informing the rejection of seat allocation in Common Seat Allocation System (CSAS) round-1 for reserved category candidates due to non-availability of category certificates.
The candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC and EWS who did not submit their category certificate in the format prescribe by DU will not be eligible to receive seat allocation under the reserved category.
These candidates will hereafter be considered for open or unreserved seats in CSAS round-2. The allocation will be subject to availability of seats and other DU allocation policies including merit of the unreserved category and preference order submitted by the candidates.

The University has previously advised students through webinars, bulletins, common seat allocation system documents and public notices to ensure that the documents and certificates should be in the prescribed format.
DU concluded its CSAS round- today, October 22, 2022. The candidates are required to pay their admission fee online till 5PM on October 24, 2022 . Only the candidates who accept their allocated fee and pay the admission fee can move to CSAS round-2 and will have an option to 'upgrade, re-ordering the higher preference' from 5 PM on October 25, 2022 till 4:50 PM on October 27, 2022.
The university will also release the second merit list on October 30, 2022 and candidates are required to accept their allocated seats from October 31 to November 1, 2022. "The candidates are advised to keep checking the DU admission website- admission.uod.ac.in regularly for all updates and schedule" said DU notice.
