Republic Day Quiz 2022: How much do you know about the Constitution, its authors and the laws it underpins?
NEW DELHI: As New Delhi spruces up for the annual parade, India comes together to celebrate Republic Day 2022 on January 26. This year, the country will observe the 73rd Republic Day after the adoption of the Constitution on January 26, 1950.
The Republic Day 2022 celebrations this year began with observing “ Parakram Divas ” on the birth anniversary of freedom fighter Subhash Chandra Bose on January 24. The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is also encouraging school children to register and watch live streaming of the Republic Day celebrations at the MyGov portal.
The country became a republic after drafting the world’s longest constitution that gave us rights, duties, and most importantly a nation governed by set rules.
