QS World University Rankings 2023: IIM Kozhikode in top 251-300 for Business and Management Studies

IIM Kozhikode has improved its overall scoring from 58.3 in 2022 to 61.7 in 2023.
NEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Kozhikode has gained 100 spots to be among top 251-300 institutes globally in Business and Management Studies globally, as per the Quacquarelli Symonds (QS) World University Rankings by Subject 2023. IIM Kozhikode has improved its overall scoring from 58.3 in 2022 to 61.7 in 2023.
Globally IIM Kozhikode now stands with ESIC (Madrid, Spain), Kobe University (Kobe City, Japan), Shanghai University (Shanghai, China), Universitat de Barcelona (Barcelona, Spain), University of Bristol (Bristol, United Kingdom), University of Cologne (Cologne, Germany), University of Illinois at Chicago (UIC) (Chicago, United States), Uppsala University (Uppsala, Sweden), Washington State University (Pullman, United States) and many other global institutes and universities of international repute.

Speaking on the achievement, Professor Debashis Chatterjee, Director, IIM Kozhikode, added, “IIM Kozhikode’s significant rise in these prestigious global rankings is a testimony to the institute’s consistent and resolute pursuit of a holistic and intense approach to learning in the field of business and management studies. Rankings are also a reflection on IIMK’s commitment towards inculcating diversity, enhancing employer reputation, promoting research evoking thought leadership and offering distinct career outcomes to our students. The QS World University Rankings by Subject 2023 is based on five parameters which include academic Reputation (60 percent), Employer Reputation (20 percent), Citations per paper (7.5 percent), H-Index (impact and quality of work published by institute’s scholars) (7.5 percent), IRN (International Research Network for research collaboration) (5 percent).
