PSEB 5th, 8th Results 2026: Students should have to score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject to pass the Punjab board Class 5 and 8 exams 2026.
The Punjab School Education Board (PSEB) will declare the PSEB Class 5 and 8 exam results 2026 soon on its official website at pseb.ac.in, as per media reports. Students should have to type their roll number and date of birth to access the PSEB Class 5, and 8 results through the official portal.
Notably, the Punjab board has also set up a provision to provide PSEB Class 5 and 8 marks on students' mobile number. To get PSBE 5th and 8th exam 2026 results on the mobile number, students should have to follow the steps given below.
- Open message app in mobile phone.
- Type PB05 for Class 5 results or PB08 for Class 8 results.
- Send it to 5676750.
- Receive PSEB 5th and 8th results on your mobile number.
As per the passing criteria, students should have to score at least 33 per cent marks in each subject to pass the PSBE Class 5 and 8 exams 2026.
The Punjab board conducted the PSEB Class 5 exams 2026 from March 6 to 12, while Class 8 exams were held from February 17 to 27. PSEB 5th and 8th theory papers carried 80 marks and internal assessment was worth 20 marks.

Students can follow the steps given below to download PSEB 5th and 8th results once declared.
- Go to the official website at pseb.ac.in.
- On the homepage, click on the results section.
- Then click on Class 5 or Class 8 result link 2026.
- A new window will open.
- Enter roll number and date of birth.
- Press the submit icon.
- Check your PSEB 5th or 8th marks and download the marksheet.
In addition, the Punjab board follows a structured grading system for evaluation. Grades are assigned on the basis of percentage scored by the students.
