'Postpone GATE 2021': Students' protest grows as IIT Bombay releases admit card

Students took to social media urging the authorities to ‘Postpone GATE 2021’. While IIT Bombay on Friday released GATE admit cards at gate.iitb.ac.in.

Download NowNEW DELHI: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Bombay has released GATE 2021 admit card on January 8 at gate.iitb.ac.in . The authorities are going to conduct GATE exam 2021 on February 6, 7, 13 and 14. Amid all this, students demand ‘Will GATE 2021 be postponed?’.
Many students took to twitter requesting the authorities to postpone GATE 2021 exam dates due to ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. The previous year has brought a lot of mental pressure which affected preparation for the whole student community.

@DrRPNishank @Swamy39 Sir Please Postpone Gate Exam 2021. Due to pandemic we had to face lot of problems. We were stuck due to lockdown for 2 months and in that time preparation was hampered a lot. Exam are of year's hardwork and dedication so please consider my request.

Now whether GATE 2021 is postponed or not depends upon the authorities. However, there are least chances to postpone GATE 2021 as for the past few months, all the national as well as state level entrance examinations are being conducted for the sake of a break-free academic calendar.
