Pondicherry University Admission 2023: Spot round to fill vacant seats begins on August 30

Pondicherry University Admission 2023 for five-year integrated programmes will be held through the CUET (UG) 2023 scores.
NEW DELHI: The Pondicherry University will conduct spot admission for the vacant seats of its various five-year integrated PG programmes. The university will hold the admission process using the scores of the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2023.
The university said eligible candidates will have to physically report to the respective head of the department, in which they want to apply for the five-year integrated PG programme, from 10 AM on August 30.

The admission to the integrated programme will be made as per the order of merit from among the candidates who report against the available vacant seats. The candidates will have to bring all the necessary original certificates.
They will have to bring CUET UG 2023 score card, Class 10 and 12 mark sheets, passing certificate, government identity card and category certificate, if applicable.
Pondi University Admissions 2023: Tie-breaker criteria
Eligible candidates who will get the same marks will be decided based on the criteria given below:
- Candidates with higher Class 12 marks will be placed higher in the merit list
- If criterion fail to break the tie-breaker, then candidate will Class 10 marks will get the seat
- If both the criteria fail to break the tie-breaker, then age of candidates (in days) will be used.
The preferences for selection of candidates at the time of spot admission process will be given on the university website. Candidates can refer to the official website at pondiuni.edu.in/admissions-2023-24.
