Parul University receives £65,000 grant from Royal Academy of Engineering for research on green hydrogen

NEW DELHI: Parul University has initiated a new research project with a £65,000 grant from the Royal Academy of Engineering, UK. The project is titled "Advancing Green Hydrogen Production through Electrolysis: Optimization and Renewable Energy Integration". As per the university statement, this marks the university's fourth collaboration with the organization.
The objective of this research project is to transform hydrogen production through electrolysis and renewable energy, reducing reliance on fossil fuels. As per the university release, collaborating with the University of Surrey, UK, and Linde Engineering India Private Limited, the project promises substantial benefits, enabling students and staff to actively contribute to the development of sustainable solutions.
Interdisciplinary approach to tackle sustainable energy challenges
According to Parul University , the project adopts an interdisciplinary approach to tackle sustainable energy challenges, emphasizing collaboration to achieve its goals. Drawing on expertise from fields such as chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, applied sciences, and computer science and engineering, the project partners are equipped to advance green technology innovations.
