NEW DELHI: The Union education minister, Ramesh Pokhriyal ‘Nishank’ announced the start of the registration process to participate in the fourth edition of ‘pariksha pe charcha’ on Thursday.
Students of Classes 9 to 12 will be eligible to register from February 18 to March 14 for an opportunity to interact with prime minister Narendra Modi. This year, the interaction will be conducted in virtual mode and it is open for parents and teachers as well.
Students, parents, teachers from all across the country will be given a chance to discuss their fears, aspirations, concerns, and suggestions with PM Modi.
As many as 1,500 students, 250 parents and 250 teachers will be selected as winners from among the participants. All participants will also receive a digital certificate of participation.

Pariksha pe charcha 2021 themes
To participate in the interaction, the students, teachers and parents have been assigned specific theme on which they can ask questions, send suggestions or seek tips and advice from PM Modi.
For students, there are five themes including ‘exams are like festivals, celebrate them’, ‘India is incredible, travel and explore’, ‘As one journey ends, another begins’ among others. For parents, the theme revolves around children’s mental health and boosting their morale.
Teachers have been asked to send their questions and suggestions on the benefits and challenges of the online education system. After COVID-19, the entire education system was shifted to online education.
The previous edition of the event was held in Talkatora Stadium in New Delhi with over 2,000 students in attendance.
