Over 21 lakh students to appear in JEE Main 2021 exam; 6.6 lakh registered for Feb session

try now testNEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) is going to conduct JEE Main 2021 in four sessions, starting from February 23. The JEE Main 2021 application form was available in online mode from December 16 to January 23. According to The Times of India , the NTA has received approximately 22 lakh registrations for all the four sessions of JEE Main 2021 exam.

Since the NTA will reopen the JEE Main 2021 application form after the conclusion of the JEE Main 2021 February session, the total number of registrations is expected to increase. As per the JEE Main 2021 registration statistics, around 6.6 lakh students have registered for the first session of the exam to be conducted in February.
This year, the authorities have decided to conduct the JEE Main 2021 exam in regional languages including Gujarati and Bengali. Although most of the JEE Main 2021 aspirants have selected English as their preferred exam language, 1,49,621 candidates have opted for Indian languages with nearly half of them for Hindi.
“A record of 21.75 lakh registrations have been made by JEE Main aspirants to take over the four cycles permitted this year,” according to The Time of India report.

From this year, Abdul Kalam Technical University will not conduct the Uttar Pradesh State Engineering Entrance Exam (UPSEE). Admissions into engineering institutes will be done through JEE Main exam. With the joining of Uttar Pradesh engineering colleges, there has been an increase in JEE Main 2021 registration by approximately 1 lakh.
The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main is conducted for admission into the undergraduate engineering and architecture courses offered by NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs. JEE Main is one of the most important entrance tests for aspiring engineers.
The first session of JEE Main 2021 is scheduled to be conducted from February 23 to 26. Registered candidates will be able to download the JEE Main admit card 2021 from the second week of February.
