JNVST Registration 2025: NVS lateral entry selection test for Class 9, 11 will be held on February 8.
NEW DELHI: Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti (NVS) has opened the NVS Class 9, 11 lateral entry selection test 2025 registration. Interested and eligible student can fill the Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Selection Test (JNVST registration form 2025 for Class 9, 11 by visiting the official website cbseitms.nic.in. As per the official notification, the JNV registration 2025 deadline for Class 9, 11 selection test is October 30.

The JNVST 2025 for Class 9, 11 will be held on February 8. As per the official notification, the JNVST 2025 selection test will be held from 11:00 am to 1:30 pm. Candidates are required to upload their photograph, signature, signature of parents, academic marksheets, valid photo ID while filling out the JNVST Class 9 admission form.
JNV Admission 2025: Selection test pattern for Class 6, 9
The duration of NVS selection test 2024 will be of 2 hours 30 minutes. Additional time of 50 minutes will be allowed for Divyang students. The NVS 2025 admission test will comprise of objective type questions. There will be a total of 100 questions. JNVST Registration 2025 Open: Class 11 cut-off
The JNVST 2025 overall cut-off out of 60 marks is as follows: 21 for General and Other Backward Classes (OBC) boys, 20 for General and OBC girls, and 18 for Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), and Divyang (Persons with Disabilities) candidates.
JNV Admission 2025: Tie-breaking policy for Class 9, 11
If there is a tie for marks out of 60, the following criteria will be followed.
- Female candidate will be preferred over male candidate.
- If tie still exists, candidate who has scored higher marks out of 40 (two
- subjects) excluding Mental Ability Score, will be preferred.
- Even then if tie exists, candidate who has scored higher marks out of all five
- subjects, out of 100, will be preferred.
- If tie is not yet resolved, candidate whose age is less will be preferred.
