The testing agency will open the correction facility for registered JEE Mains 2026 candidates from December 1. They will be able to make changes to their application forms by December 2, 2025.
Notably, candidates will be given only one chance to make corrections to their JEE Mains 2026 application form . The particulars in the application form that will be allowed to change includes candidates’ or father’s or mother’s name, class 10 and 12 details, state code of eligibility, medium of the examination, date of birth, gender, category, sub-category or PwD, signature and Aadhaar details.
Whereas, candidates will not be allowed to change their mobile number, email address, address (permanent and present), emergency contact details, and photograph of details.
JEE Mains 2026: Eligibility, registration fee
Candidates seeking admission to BTech, BArch, and BPlanning programmes at various government and private engineering institutes across the country need to have cleared Class 12 or equivalent examination in 2024, 2025 or appearing in 2026 to be eligible for the computer-based JEE Mains 2026 .
There is no age limit for the candidate for appearing in the JEE Mains 2026. The testing Agency will conduct the JEE Mains 2026 session 1 examination from January 21 to 30, while the session 2 will be held from April 2 to 9. The college entrance tests will be held in two shifts.
Candidates will be offered admission on the basis of their choices and All India Ranks for JEE Mains 2026 through a seat allocation process by CSAB or JoSAA.
Male candidates belonging to the unreserved category should have to pay Rs 1,000 as JEE Mains 2026 application fee, while general Economically Weaker Section (EWS), Other Backward Classes (OBC) category candidates need to pay Rs 900 as registration charges.
Female JEE Mains 2026 aspirants from unreserved, general EWS, OBC category, should have to pay Rs 800 and Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disability (PwD), Transgender category candidates can pay Rs 500 as registration charges.
