GAT B Result 2025: Candidates can challenge the provisional answer key by paying Rs 200 per question before April 28.
NEW DELHI : The National Testing Agency (NTA) has issued the Graduate Aptitude Test - Biotechnology (GAT B) provisional answer key 2025. Candidates can download the GAT B 2025 answer key from the official website, dbt2025.ntaonline.in.
“The National Testing Agency has uploaded the Provisional Answer Keys along with the Question Paper with Recorded Responses on the website https://www.nta.ac.in/ or https://dbt2025.ntaonline.in/ for candidates to challenge,” said the testing agency in an official notice.
Those who are not satisfied with the GAT B answer key 2025 can challenge it by paying a non-refundable objection fee of Rs 200 per question challenged. The fee payment can be done through debit card, credit card, or net banking. The last date to raise objections against the provisional key is April 28 till 11:50 pm.
A panel of subject experts will verify the challenges made by the candidates. If they’re found correct, the answer key will be revised and revised answers will be applied in the key of all other students. Based on the final answer key, GAT B result 2025 will be prepared and declared.

“No individual candidate will be informed about the acceptance/non-acceptance of his/her challenge. The key finalized by the Experts after the challenge will be final. No challenge will be accepted after 28 April 2025 (upto 11:50 PM),” NTA added.
How to challenge GAT B answer key 2025?
The steps to challenge the answer key of GAT B 2025:
- Go to dbt2025.ntaonline.in
- Login with your application number, date of birth, and enter the security pin as displayed and submit.
- Click ‘Challenge(s) regarding Answer Key’.
- The ID next to the question under the column ‘Correct Option’ stands for the most appropriate answer key.
- Use any one or more of the option IDs given in the next four columns by clicking the check box.
- Upload supporting documents in the field ‘Choose File’ (in a single pdf/jpgfile).
- After clicking your desired option, for part A, part B for GAT-B, click on ‘Challenge Question’ and move to the next screen.
- You will see a display of all the option IDs you have challenged and if any changes required, click on edit or add challenge questions.
- Click on ‘Save your Claim and Pay Fee Finally’.
- Click on ‘Continue and Pay Fee Finally’.
- Select mode of payment and pay the fee.
GAT B 2025 was held on April 20 for admissions to postgraduate programmes in biotechnology and allied areas, at participating institutions and universities in India.
