NMMS 2023: Maharashtra exam on December 24, Haryana releases admit card

NEW DELHI: Maharashtra State Examination Council has postponed the National Scholarship Scheme for Economically Weaker Students (NMMS) Exam 2024. The exam, which was scheduled on December 17, will be conducted on December 24.

The Haryana School Education Board (HSEB) has uploaded the Haryana NMMS 2024 admit card on the official website, bseh.org.in. The HSEB will conduct the NMMS 2024 exam on November 19.
Candidates will have to enter their Aadhaar card number and date of birth to download the admit card. The admit card will include name of candidate, exam centre, time of exam and guidelines.
Procedure for PwD students
The HSEB also added that blind and disabled candidates who are unable to write and want to take the help of a scribe should submit an attested copy of the medical certificate issued by the chief medical officer (CMO) in which their disability has been certified to be 40 percent or more. Such candidates will have to submit original and attested documents of the writer such as educational qualification, date of birth, two latest passport size photographs (one attested), photo identity card and permanent and temporary address attested by the principal of the school.
The writer will also have to reach the examination centre two days before the NMMS 2024 exam and take approval from the centre superintendent.

As per the, NMMS scheme was launched in 2008 to award scholarships to meritorious students of economically weaker sections for Class 8 students. Under the scheme, 1,00,000 scholarships are awarded to meritorious students whose parental income is not more than ₹ 3,50,000/- per annum.
