NMC extends deadline for colleges to submit data of MBBS students in academic session 2022-23

NMC has extended the last date for colleges to submit details of students enrolled in first year of MBBS programme in academic year 2022-23.
NEW DELHI : The National Medical Commission (NMC) has extended the deadline for medical colleges to submit the details of students enrolled in the first year of MBBS programme in the academic session 2022-23 till January 10, 2023. Earlier, the last date for colleges to upload the data of students was December 31.
“Thus, as a one time major the last date for uploading the data/ details of students enrolled for 1st year MBBS degree for the academic year 2022-23 is hereby extended till 10th January, 2023 (midnight). You are, therefore, once again requested to upload online data/details of in respect of all the students enrolled for the above degree by the target date that is, 10th January, 2023 on priority basis,” read NMC’s latest notification.

NMC said that the colleges were asked to fill the data by December 31 but various colleges could not submit the complete data which is causing issues. “However it is observed that the complete data has not yet been uploaded by the medical colleges as a result of which difficulties are being faced in monitoring the online data of the above students,” it said.

NMC further emphasized to follow the terms, conditions, and guidelines as well as provisions of Indian Medical Council (IMC) Act, 1956 and National Medical Commission Act, 2019 in admission and uploading of data.
“In case of any difficulty in accessing NMC website or in data entry, an email may be sent to support.ugmonitoring@nmc.org.in or contact at our toll free number 1800 11 11 54 (from 9:30 am to 6 pm) and the NMC office shall revert immediately to resolve the query/ issue,” NMC notice further read.
