NIT Warangal records highest-ever package of Rs 1.27 crore in ongoing summer placements

NIT Warangal Placements 2025-26: Over 200 students secure offers of more than Rs 20 lakh. The average package stands at Rs 26 lakh.
In the early phase of placements, over 200 students of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal have received offers of more than Rs 20 lakh. A BTech computer science and engineering student received a domestic offer of Rs 1.27 crore – the highest-ever package in the institute’s history.
Narayan Tyagi clinched the highest salary package from a multinational company (MNC) followed by Mohammed Nahil Nashwan from electrical and electronics engineering with a CTC of Rs 1 crore.
Within the first two months of NIT domestic placements , the institute witnessed an average package over Rs 26 lakh. Six students received offers with CTC beyond Rs 70 lakh, 34 secured offers exceeding Rs 50 lakh, 125 bagged offers above Rs 30 lakh, 163 crossed the package of Rs 25 lakh.
The top companies that participated in the NIT placement drive were LinkedIn, Microsoft, DE Shaw, Goldman Sachs, NVIDIA, Harness, Qualcomm, Flipkart, Meesho, Oracle, Okta, Morgan Stanley, HPCL, Chevron, ExxonMobil, Samsung, etc. – offering diverse roles in AI, data science, product design, consulting, and core engineering.

Bidyadhar Subudhi, director of NIT Warangal, congratulated all students and faculty, and said, “The ongoing season demonstrates our students’ excellence, industry relevance, and the growing confidence of recruiters in our institute.” He also praised the dedicated efforts of the Centre for Career Planning and Development (CCPD), NIT Warangal (CCPD) team, led by professor P V Suresh for the success.
