NTA declares NIFTEE 2026 results for BDes, MDes admissions. Candidates can download scorecards at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/ using login details: application number and date of birth/password.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced NIFTEE 2026 results for admission to BDes, MDes programmes. Candidates can download the NIFTEE 2026 scorecard through the official website at exams.nta.nic.in/niftee/.
The scorecard will include key details such as the candidate’s marks, rank and qualifying status, which will be used for the next stage of the admission process.
According to the official notice, the stage 1 entrance examination for programmes including bachelor of design (BDes), bachelor of fashion technology (BFTech), master of design (MDes), master of fashion management (MFM), master of fashion technology (MFTech), and lateral entry courses was held on February 8, 2026.
The exam was conducted in both Hindi and English across 129 centres in 97 cities nationwide. Depending on the course, candidates appeared for either a computer-based test (CBT) or a paper-based test (PBT).
The agency said that the stage 1 results for these programmes have been declared on March 20, 2026. However, for the BFTech programme, the final result will be announced separately at a later stage, as there is no stage 2 examination for this course.

To download the NIFTEE result 2026, candidates can download the steps given below:

Visit the official website of NIFTEE exams.nta.nic.in/niftee.

On the homepage, click on the "NIFT 2026 Stage 1 Result" link.

Enter the login credentials: application number and date of birth/password.

Submit the details.

Download the NIFTEE score card 2026 and take a printout for further reference.

NIFTEE 2026: Selection process
The final selection will be based on the candidate’s overall performance in the entrance exam and subsequent selection rounds including situation tests, group discussions and personal interviews, depending on the programme.
As per the criteria, candidates have been shortlisted in the ratio of 1:4 (one seat to four candidates), category-wise. In the case of PwD candidates, the shortlisting has been done with the additional condition that they must have secured at least 50% of the cut-off marks of their respective category
