Candidates will have to enter their email address and date of birth to login and download the NID admit card 2026. The admit card will carry details such as the candidate’s name, application number, photograph, signature, exam date, time, and venue, along with items allowed inside the exam centre, and reporting time.
NID DAT 2026 prelims exam is scheduled to be held on December 21. The exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes at NID campuses across India. Candidates are selected based on their score in the prelims and mains exams.
NID DAT exam is held in two stages: Prelims and Mains. The entrance exam scores will be used for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate design programmes offered by the design institutes.

How to download NID DAT admit card 2026?
The steps to download the NID DAT prelims admit card 2026 are as follows:
- Visit the official NID admissions website at admissions.nid.edu.
- Click on the link for “NID DAT 2026 Admit Card – Prelims.”
- Enter your registered email address and date of birth in the login fields.
- Submit the details to access your admit card.
- Download and take a printout of the admit card to carry it to the exam centre.
- Keep a valid photo ID ready, as it must be presented along with the admit card on the exam day.
The NID DAT 2026 prelims exam is designed to assess candidates' aptitude in design, creativity, observation, and communication skills. The exam will have two sections: Part A and Part B. Part A has 19 objective-type questions worth a total of 25 marks, while Part B includes 5 subjective-type questions carrying 75 marks.
