NEW DELHI:
The National Institute of Design has begun the online registration process for the NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) 2023 on October 21, 2022. NID DAT application form 2023 is available on the official website - admissions.nid.edu. The last date to apply for NID DAT 2023 is December 16, 2022, with a regular fee. Candidates who are not able to apply before the last date can fill NID DAT application form 2023 till December 19, 2022, by paying a late fee.

NID DAT eligibility criteria 2023
Candidates wishing to appear in the NID DAT 2023 exam are required to meet the stated eligibility criteria. Check who can apply for the NID entrance exam 2023.

General/ General-EWS category candidates must born on or after July 1, 2003, and can apply for NID DAT 2023.

OBC-Non Creamy Layer/ SC/ ST candidates must be born on or after July 1, 2000.

PwD reserved category candidates born on or after July 1, 1998.

Students who have passed class 12 (10+2) or are currently appearing in the class 12 examination in any discipline (Arts, Science, Commerce, Humanities, etc) from a recognized board are eligible to appear in the NID DAT design aptitude test.
Steps to fill out the NID DAT application form 2023
To fill out the application form for NID DAT 2023 , students are advised to follow the below step-by-step instructions.

Step 1: Go to the official website of NID - admissions.nid.edu.

Step 2: Next, fill up the NID DAT registration form by entering the required valid details.

Step 3: Students will now receive the user ID and password in the registered email ID and mobile number.

Step 4: Candidates can log in with the user ID and password to complete the NID DAT 2023 application form.

Step 5: Then, upload the required documents in a prescribed format and size and pay the required fee.

Step 6: Finally, download and take a printout of the duly filled application form of NID DAT 2023.

About NID DAT 2023
NID Design Aptitude Test (NID DAT) is a qualifying exam for B.Des and M.Des admission at the National Institute of Design campuses and other participating institutes. NID DAT consists of two exams - prelims and mains. Candidates have to clear both prelims and mains exam to gain M.Des or B.Des admission at NID campuses.
