Try NowYet again, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has extended the last date for choice-filling facility for the first round of the National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET UG) counselling 2025. Now, candidates can submit their course and college preferences till August 11 on mcc.nic.in.

“Dear Candidates, Choice filling facility for Round 1 has been extended till Monday Dated (11.08.2025) at 11:59 PM,” says the website.
The MCC NEET UG 2025 choice-filling extension implies further postponement of NEET UG seat allotment result 2025 which was scheduled for August 11. The deadline had already been moved forward to August 9 in view of requests made by the aspirants and pending court cases.
The competent authority already allowed candidates to fill and lock choices up to August 7 after they faced technical error in exercising the options.
NEET UG 2025 counselling revision
In a revision of the NEET UG 2025 counselling round 1 schedule, the MCC had increased the timeline for choice-filling and set the deadline as August 6. The decision was taken after the MCC abruptly halted the choice-filling process and announced that a revised counselling schedule will be shared.
Candidates were earlier asked to fill choices and lock them by August 4. NEET UG round 1 seat allotment result 2025 was scheduled for August 6. The provision was offered to facilitate the Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBD) who were yet to obtain their certificates from the designated centres and the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) applicants.
