Along with the provisional answer key, NTA has also issued the candidate’s OMR sheet and recorded responses. Candidates can access the NEET answer key 2025 using their login details.
As per the NEET marking scheme, candidates will be awarded four marks for each response, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer. The NEET paper 2025 had 180 questions, comprising 720 marks. The NEET UG 2025 exam was held on May 24.

How to challenge NEET UG 2025 answer key?
The steps to challenge NEET answer key 2025 are as follows.
- Visit the official website, neet.nta.nic.in.
- Click on the ‘NEET provisional answer key’ link available on the homepage.
- Login using application number and password.
- Click on the ‘Apply for key challenge’ tab.
- Select the question paper code.
- The NEET 2025 question paper for the chosen code will appear on the screen.
- Each question will have a column of ‘Answer as per NTA’ and ‘suggested answer by candidate.’
- Select the questions you want to challenge.
- Under the ‘Suggested answer by candidate,’ four answer key options will appear.
- Click and submit the option you believe is the correct answer.
- Verify the challenges and click on the final submit.
- Select the payment mode and make the payment.
- Download the key challenge receipt.
- Take printouts of the receipt for future reference.
Candidates will have to pay Rs 200 for each objection raised. After receiving all the objections made by candidates, NTA will assess the challenges raised with the help of experts. After evaluating all the objections raised, NTA will prepare the NEET final answer key. NTA NEET UG 2025 results will be prepared based on the final answer key.
