NEET UG 2025 Live: NTA NEET registration date, application form awaited; fees, syllabus updates

NEW DELHI: The National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2025 registration date will be announced soon along with the NEET 2025 exam date and NEET UG 2025 information bulletin. Once the NEET application form 2025 is out, students who fulfill the NEET 2025 eligibility criteria will have to fill it on the official website, neet.nta.nic.in. The National Testing Agency (NTA) may release the NEET 2025 registration form this week, as per previous years' trends.

NEET 2025 will be applicable for admissions to BDS, BVSc, and AH courses, in addition to MBBS, AYUSH, and BSc nursing programmes.

The NEET 2025 information bulletin will provide details such as the exam dates, eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern, syllabus, and seat reservation policies.

NEET 2025 Registration: APAAR IDs not mandatory

Earlier, NTA asked NEET 2025 candidates to use their APAAR IDs during the NEET 2025 registration. However, later the NTA has clarified that an APAAR ID is not mandatory for NEET UG registration 2025. Candidates are allowed to use other means for NEET 2025 registration.

NEET UG Registration 2025: Revised exam pattern

The NEET 2025 exam pattern has been revised. The NEET 2025 exam pattern has changed to the pre-COVID era pattern. The optional questions have been removed from NEET 2025. The NEET UG syllabus 2025 has been made available on the NEET 2025 official website, neet.nta.nic.in.

The NEET UG 2025 will be held in offline mode and in a single shift. The duration of NEET 2025 exam is 3 hours. The NEET UG 2025 is expected to be held from 2 pm to 5 pm. There will be a total of 180 questions in NEET UG 2025. The NEET 2025 exam will carry a total of 720 marks. Candidates will get 4 marks for each correct answer and 1 mark will be deducted for incorrect answer.

NEET PG 2024-25 seat matrix revised

The National Medical Commission (NMC) has revised the NEET PG 2024-25 seat matrix amid demands for cancelling round 3 counselling and holding fresh admissions. As per live law report, the Supreme Court has issued a notice to MCC following petitions from aspirants. NEET PG 2024 candidates have also alleged about seat blocking and reduced options due to delayed MP NEET PG counselling.
