NEET UG 2023 re-exam over for candidates of Manipur; know about result, counselling

Try NowNEW DELHI: The National Testing Agency (NTA) held the second edition of 2023’s National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG) today, on June 6. The NEET UG 2023 exam was conducted from 12 noon to 3:20 pm as the centre-based pen and paper test. The NEET UG 2023 result along with the merit list and all India cut-off marks will be announced very soon. The NEET UG cut-off is the last rank at which UG medical admission to medicine and allied courses will be offered.

The NTA had to hold the test of NEET UG today again for the students whose exams were postponed due to violence in Manipur. Canddiates will be able to check the consolidated NTA NEET UG exam results 2023 on the official website of the administering body -- ntaneet.ac.in. The testing agency has already issued the provisional answer key.

After the announcement of NEET UG 2023 results, the NTA will also announce the state-wise NEET UG merit lists with the respective authorities to conduct NEET UG counselling for 85 percent medical and dental seats. Candidates will be able to register for NEET UG counselling for the 15 percent all India quota (AIQ) seats and 85 percent state-quota seats.
The NEET UG 2023 paper comprised -- physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology). Each subject had 45 multiple choice questions of four marks each and a negative mark of one for wrong answers marked.
